THE EXILED

A disturbed man engages in a long phone call with an unknown woman, laying out his personal philosophy of existence—one in which life is a repeated error and morality is a convenient illusion. Throughout the call, he is seen digging a grave and burying a body that is never shown, as if the act itself matters less than the ideas used to justify it.
